Mission and Philosophy

Mission

The School of Santa Isabel is a Catholic parish elementary school wherein Christ is at the center of all our activities.  Continuing from the model of the founding community, the School Sisters of Notre Dame, we evolved into the model of the congregation of the Salesians of Don Bosco existing to build a community of disciples dedicated to serving the young.

In keeping with the Salesian charism of Reason, Religion, and Loving Kindness and Saint John Bosco’s oratory motto: Home, Church, School, Playground, we strive to educate the whole child and ensure ALL children are learning. We recognize diversity in learning styles and abilities. We work collaboratively with parents to ensure that a graduate of the School of Santa Isabel grows to be a faithful person who is held to academic excellence becoming God’s instruments in transforming the world.

Philosophy

As a newly embraced Salesian school, Santa Isabel works to provide a faith-based and challenging curriculum. The children are loved, nurtured, and educated to critically think in order to be prepared for the future, create it, and challenge it!
